Capacitive transmitters have a 4 to 20 mA output for communicating the measured value to a single evaluation unit or to the programmable logic controllers that are used nowadays in all modern production facilities. The registration of the level is carried out with the help of an electrical capacitor. A change in capacity occurs as a result of the immersion of the sensor in the medium. This is registered by the electronics, and is converted into the corresponding output signal.
State-of-the-art technology permits the entry of the process parameters with the help of the ’Teach-In’ function. The level value can therefore be easily programmed by pressing a button. On customer request, there is also the possibility of programming the products with fixed parameters in the factory.

Type CPA01
For liquids with low dielectric constants, such as oils, diesel, lubricants, emulsions and water.
The measurement range of these transmitters is a maximum of 1,800 mm. The sensor rod and the protective pipe can be replaced or shortened, and a calibration can be carried out quite easily by simply pressing a button.
