In addition to a wide range of electromechanical switches, Besta also offers electrical and electronic measuring instruments for the level measurement of liquids and bulk goods.

Capacitive switches have no moving parts and therefore do not wear. Detection of the level takes place with the help of an electrical capacitor. A change in capacity occurs as a result of the immersion of the sensor in the medium. This is registered by the electronics and initiates the switching process.

State-of-the-art technology permits the entry of the process parameters with the help of the ’Teach-In’ function. The level value can therefore be easily programmed by pressing a button. On customer request, there is also the possibility of programming the products with fixed parameters in the factory.
